nor were there any boats or rafts. .The river can be trussed ar~~tahere
as it is only one-half to three feet deep,
23, The climate in this region is known as continental dry], ThF temperature

An electrical plant was situated south and southwest of town ,just south of
the road going east and west. The town. 33d not have a heating plant or
reservoirs,
31. There were two .~ridge~ wl;ich crossed the "Hnyla Lips" river northeast eF
town, one of these was a railroad bridge and ran roughly north and south,
The other bridge which carried vehicles and peorle ion east en3 west over
the top of the railroad bridge. iThere the 'bridges cross, the river r:~ns
scutaeast -northeast. Both bridges were cotutructed of wood, steel, and
cement.

34. There were no beaches in the Peremyahlyanir area. However, the tom
pseple wed the banks of the "ffi~pla Iypa" river as a beach.
35. A sport grounds van situated north and northwest, about halt a mile out
of tom. ~hi.a van used mostly for soccer sad volley ball games.

36. Northeast of tom oa a small street which goes to the railroad station
there vas a sesll two-story brick building which was used by the MVD.
During the Soviet occupation of this tom, trom 1940-41, this building
vas not too well guarded. During German occupation barbed wire was
erected about the entire building.
