For this purpose the Stundordization Section of the Technical Council
called a conference of representatives of the following Ulnistrics: Elec-
trical Industry, Agriculturo, Timber li duatry, Internal Lpfaire (GUShO6DLBi,
Rain Administration of liigieaye), l:oavy Machine-Building, Construmtion of
PVal Enterprises, Contra: tics cf Heavy lndtatry F.nternriscs, Construction
of Mlitary and Naval Enterreces, Traoeportatio::, and Armed Forces.
The coneeror_-co deemed it possible to decrease the manber of size-typoo
of portable electric power plants and determined the types that would
satisfy all principal users.
The following types of ; ,inw y engines, those now is odstenoe and
those being developed, are to be used as a basis: Diesel engines, which
can be converted to gas, atcan engines with a high rpn and high uEesm
pressure, and also generators sixoadwr being pr' -deed.
one type of mobile electric power plant, tho 2hES-2, has been adopted.
It has a three-phase generator with a capaeii,,r it 1.6 kw, voltage of 133/230
volts, and current frequency of 50 cycles per second. It wee a 3-hp.
3erarci size-types of porta, zla electric power plants on runners have
been adopted. They inclixl? the fotln' ng typos of three-chess generators:
cycles per s second; eca d; engine, steam, 38 hp, 1,000 rpm, or 0-35 Diesel,37hP,
R_ ra.*eity_ 30 Ice; voltage. 230/400 volts; current frequency, 50
cycles per second; engine, D.'4, four-cylinder Diesel, 100 hp, 1,500 rpn.
