MDM PROGRAM IN BEXGRefZ Politika, No 1'002, 14 Aug 48
The Belgrade b' lding program, which last year suffered most f lack
of building materia:LO, found that the look of manpower was its greitalk, problem
this year. The shift of workers from one'oject to another, t.,tttr organization,
more use of machines, and voluntary labor can only partially maYd do for the
shortage of x,77-time, paid labor which is now very difficult ?vb obtain. The
supply of building materials has improved greatly.
The liner Par,%tzanka will arrive from Rio de Janeiro 7i, August 1948,
bringing 881 emigrants, who are qualified textile, metallurgical, and oonstruo-
tion workers. They will receive a gala reception vhea they land at Vela Was.
