The Eternit factories at Beroua

The J. Rausek foundry at Nova Mesto nod Metuji has increased its pro-
duction 24 percent over last year, and has exceeded its entire assignment
under the two-year plan by 1,560 kilograsn? of castings. The woolen spinning
mill of the Strekonioe woolen mills and thread factories has produced 1,081,161
kilogrese of yarn, thereby fulfilling its entire two-year plan.
The V. Wolf factory, a plant at Dvory for production of ceramic machinery,
fulfilled its two-year plan in the production of gray iron castings on 30
September. The $ovolis factory at Nejdek completed its two-year plan an 29
September.
With the completion of the electrification of the town of Roatelik,
the Central Czech Electric Power Plante, a national enterprise at Rakovnik,
completed its two-year plan, and carried out the electrification of the
remaining eight towns in the (.kres.
,e Usti factory for E1k% storage batteries also completed its two-
year plan on 1 October.
