On 4 November 1948, the workers of the Lodz Power Plant ostabli.hsdtwo
new records: 1,030,000 kilowatt-hours during a 24-hour production period in the
W& Power Plant and a peak-load of 57,E kl:owatts. These figures almost
equal prewar production.

Me 'Bialy Laten' Coke Plant completed its yearly plan with a production
of 243,200 toms of orb. This is the first coke plant to complete its yearly
prodnction plan. For the rest of the year it anticipates a produe:ian of
33,000 toes above is Quota.

zlotys for such work. This plant employs 950 workers and provides the oity with
about 180,000 cubic meters of See for lighting purposes over a 24-hour period.
These results have been made posoib :. through the reconstruction of four central
generators for furnaces and the repair of thrie batteries for production of
water gas.
The Wroclaw Gas Plant will be one"of he largest of its type in Poland
