Industry in the city of Somsomol'sk completed the annual plan uiead of
schedule and gave the state 41 million rubles in above-plan profits. Enter-
prises in Sirovskiy and Stalinekiy Rayon, the main industrial regions in the
city of Khabarovsk, also completed the annual plans ahead of schedule. g:eher-
men in the Amur basin naught 490,000 more pud of fish in 1948 than in 194T.
Thb logging enterprises also achieved oonsidernble euoobes, with the
Svyatogorskiy, Ehr-Urniyskiy and Ehor Ttaber Managements taking the lead.

Iadnetry in Stalinakiy BA;= in the city of Edabwrovsk completed the
annual gross production plan 20 days ahead of schedule, with Brick Plant No 2,
the Machinery Repair Plant, and Bread Combine No 6 in the lead. The rayon's
industry has produced several million rubles' worth of goods &W* acmpleting
the 1948 plan.

Many enterprises in Primorakly Kray are successfully completing their
pledges to realize above-plan profits. Primorekiy fishermen have already
deddoted 43 million rubles from the state budget, coal miners, iaore than 6 million

shipbuilders, 2,146,000 rubles.
Although the 11-month gross production plan for all industry in the Bra?
was exceeded by 3.5 percent, November shows a owmiderable decrease, with
the plan fulfilled only 94.2 percent. Industry in the city of Voroshilov
failed to oompleta the November plan, and the following branches of industry
oontime to lag: nonferrous metallurgy, power engineering, maritime and
rail cad transport, trade oooperatirea, sad ILMal irlnetry.
Mines of "Kraytop" (trey Fuel) did not complete the November plan for coal
"
minim, enterprises of
Kraymestprom" (grey local Industry) and "Dal'shakhto-
stroy (Far RD-st Construction of Mine Enterprises) did not fulfill the plan
for production of li.w and red brick. The leather shoe combine and trade
cooperatives did Dot complete the November plan for output of new shoes.
Enterprises of the ?Primorekles" (Primorekiy Timber) Trust and "Krayleszag"
(Bray Togging) decreased production in November and did :ot complete the
plan for timber transport.
Several enterprises are not fulfilling their pledges to realize above-plan
profits. The large Artem Mine No 3, the Buchan Mine No 25, and others made such
pledges but took no measuree to fulfill them.

The Statistics Administration of Primorskiy tray reports the following
results in the fulfillment of the state plan for development of the eoonw
of the Hray in November 1948.
The November gross production plan for all Primorskly tray industry was
fulfilled 94.2 percent, including 101.3 percent for industry in the pity of
Vladivostok and 93.7 percent for indnstrp"in t& city of Toroehilov. The
11-month gross production plan was exceeded by 3.5 percent, with a 14;?7
percent increase in gross production over the same period in 1947'. The
November gross production output plan was fulfilled by individual industries
as follows:
