Housing construction has been carried out an a wide scale in the
pest year in Pervors-benekiy Rayon. A small city of the State Maritime
Steamship Line has grown up in Vtoraya Rechka, now houses for workers in
'Primrybstrc;y" (Prinorakly Construction of Fish Enterprises) hays been
built, and army Individual houses have been conetructod as far as 26
kilometers fran Pervaya Rechka.

The city of 1Canor--''ak underren*, gnat changes during 1948.
Newly built houses were wade available to 10,000 person.. A whole
section at new houses for shipbuilders has been constructed in the
central region of the city. Two schools have been completed and the
third Is nearing completion. All industry of the city completed the
annual plan an 18 December, giving the state 41 million rubles in above
plan profits.
Construction of four 2-story st_ne bosses for workers at the shipyard
have berm gslspleteA in Petropav?.ovsk, Kamahatks. The new houses have a
onsmunal water aaia, aowerage system, and central Leating. A 2-apartnsat
stems home has been completed and another is under ccm.truatioa at the
workers' settlement of the fifth Tich Plant of the Combine imsnf Nikoyan.
A now 4-apartment house is ready for occupancy. Two large 20-apartment
houses have been constructed in the village of Elyuchl and one in
flat'-Eimebatak.
