CANTOR STEEL WORKS NEARING COMPLETION
The National Resources Com,tssicn Steel Works Lt Kuang-thou,
after ? months work, nears completion. This is the largest plant
of its 'kind in South China. It will produce from 2,000 to 3,000
tone.of steel each month, caking use of Hainan ore. Most u: the
technical men came here from An-shan and Pen-ch'i. Most of the
output will-go to state-operated plants which are urgently in
need of su'.h material. The surplus will be sold to public.
