THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
The Osijek Farm Machinery Factory will expand its production of farm
machinery and tools considerably in 1949. Besides its previous production of
the standard types, in the near future the factory will begs-m to produce
several new types including: machines for planting potatoes, cultivators.
machines for spreading artifir^ial fertilizer, reapers for sunflowers and hemp,
horse-drawn rakes, and a large variety of farm tools.
Dr Yladislav Svard has developed an apparatus for measuring the humidity
in the air in industrial enterprises. Such instruments, of particular importance
in textile.mille and tobacco factories, have always bad to be imported in the
pact.
The apparatus is of such simple construction that it can be made in any
cabinet-making shop. It operates by automatically starting a ventilator wheZ-
ever the humidity rises above the proper degree.
