TA1VAIf 8051 P 0DODTIw i CTs TO TOP GOAL Taivan sugar production for 1949 is expected to exceed 500,000 tons. This.is 100,000 tons ever the goal set for this year. Production figures for sale of the factories are as follows: Nobi laotory, 26,000 tons; Triko L'6otory 20,000 tons. The Keishu, Santo, and Rokko factories have each pro- -laced 18,000 tons; and i6 other factories, such as the Tairin and Eyokoto factories have produced over 10,000 toes each. In addition, these factories hare prpdiuoed 120,000 tone of specially refined sugar. The .agar-prodeesing season is not yet over in Tarn, and it id-expected that the factories will produce an additional 100,000 tons before the season is over.
