A new hydroeleotrio plant is under construction on the Sadu River in
the Sibiu region This installation is to develop 16,000 kilowatts and is
to be equipped with material imported.frest USSR, especially Felton turbines.
When the plant is completed, it should cover all the electric power needs of
the iadtriea of southern Transylvania.
