Staliagred -- The pre-lay Day sociklist competition program at the
Stalingrad Msdioal Equipsent Factory has served to eliminate the production
lags of the first 2 months of 1949, and the April production schedule is
being fulfilled on time.
Lvov -- Workers of the Lvov Disinfection Equipment Factory rave resolved
to celebrate May Day by exceeding their April quotas by 20 gerc-it.
Voronezh -- Workers of the Voronezh Pharmaceutical Factory have completed
their first-quarter production quotas in all categories of products. They
further Intend to save 300,000 rubles in 1949 as their contribution to the
May Day celebration. The eoomomy plan is going-into effect on 1 May.
Odessa -- he Odessa Medical Equipient Factory completed its first-
quarter quotas on 6 April. The workers h6pe to have prw.ujed an above
quota quantity of equipment, valued at 230,000 rubles, as their contribution
to the My Day celebration.
Spirovo, Ealinin Otlaat -- Workers of the "Industriya" Glass Factory
intend to complete their monthly quotas by 25 April. The ec.,nmV program
and the plan to use the raw material resources on hand has reaculted in a
first-quarter saving of 220,000 rubles.
Kiev -- Personnil of the Chemicorcarmaceutioal 7actory imeni Lomon,sov
are going to most their first-quarter quotas successfully The engineering
and'mrintsannce crews are completing renovation of the medicinal resoroin
ekop. The factory has started the manufacutre of medicinal chloroform;
the first ton will be mani:faetured in time for the May Day celebration.

their first-quarter production quotas. The Pro Nay-Day socialist competition
program was.very successful, and the 4-month production sohedule in all
categories of products will be completed by 25 April. Special mention
must be made of the work of the ampule shop which, under the guidance
of foreman Smirov, is already working on 1949 quotas, Thepbytin shop is
also producing well, they have thus far produced 2 tone above assigned
quot s. other shops have also been conducting an econov7 capaign, and
