6 SHIPS To FM VE WATERWAY -- Trybuna Iudu, No 123, 6 May 49
As of 7 May the regular rune on the Wiela between Warsaw and Gaamk will
be reopened. Ships leave daily at 1900 and arrive in Gdansk at 08:)0. This
line will be serviced by six vessels: the Swierczeweki, Sikoraki, Daszynskl,
Traugutt, ffilinski, and the Zerasski.
This will not interfere with the Warsaw-Wloclawek run, which will be
continued.

In April, the railroad ferries between the Scandinavian countries and
Swinoujsoie made 20 tripe, bringing in 1,000 tons of goods, 300 tons of nhioh
were transit goods. On the return trips, 3,400 tone of goods, including 860
tons of transit goof, were carried. Total passengers carried was 600.

In SwinoWsiie two 7-tor cranes will start operations in the near futrr,.
These cranes are to be used to transfer coal from bargee to ships and are
intended to service the snail vessels; the large veeseas will be directed
to Szczecin. Storage space for coal and are is also being prepared in
the port area.

On 27 April 1949, the Swedish ship Ingvar entered Szczecin port, the
1,300th ship entering the port since January 19h9.
