In 1948, freight car turnover on the Azerbaydzhaa Railroad System was
accelerated 12.2 hours over the 1947 figure. Th- 1949 plan cello for speed-

welding. A large washing machine is used to wash all parts of dismantled

During 1946 the plant expended 9,=00 man-hours on capital repair of loco-
motives. During the first quarter 1949, 6,500-6,700 man-hours were expended
on capital repair of locomotives.

A nev station building has been put into use at the Zdolbunov Railroad Sta-
tion. The building has rooms for mothers and children, waiting rc'oms, and s
restaurant.
