The Ministry of National Defense announces the enrollment of candidates
for the follawing.Officers' Training Schools: Infantry, Artillery, Anti-
aircraft, Com unicatiors, Engineers, Armored Division, Ordnance, Motorized
Division, Navy, Air Force, Quartermaster, Political Indoctrination, Topog-
raphy, and Veterinarian.
Candidates' traveling expenses from their homes to the Regional
Eligibility Commission and to schools for entrance examinations will be
paid by the Ministry of National Defense. Room and board for candidates rill
be paid by the Ministry for the duration of the examinations.

The training courses '.sst from 2 to 3 years, depending upon the nature
of the course. Courses will start 1 October 1949.
Candidates must have the following qualifications to be eligible
"olict cttizanbhip,:w Impeachable record, single status, age limit 18-25,
physical fitness for military service career, secondary school or equivelent
trade school education, and commnitment to a military service career.
Applications are accepts?- until 25 June 1949. Candidates should send
their applications t;, their local Regional Clearing Commander.
The following documents must be attached: to the application (1)
biographical sketch written in long-hand by candidate, (2) proof of eitlzen-
ship, (3) b_rth certificate, (4) Ls.t school report card, (5) document show-
ing candidate's fitness for military service, (6) health certificate issued
by a powiat doctor, (7) references from political, or social organizations of
which the candidate is a member, and (8) Commitment to a military service
career.
