The Novo-Mramatorsk Machine-Building Plant Is now engaged in building a p!pe-
roiiing mill for Fustavi metallurgists. This machine will be installei< in a
20,000-square-meter area. Plant engineers prepared more than 3,000 different
plane in designing this machine. The plant is also building a holding furnace
for nolten pig iron for the Transeaucasus Metallurgical Plant,

high-pressure steam turbine. The new machine is very sconamtical and highly

(T8RI'1c.sh) have successfully complatedtests on highly porous abrasive wheels
for high-speed grinding. The high tar-Twee porosity of these wheels acccunts
for a 40 - 70 percent increase in productivity.
