The Ministry of Navigation has approved the name SS Petroweki for the
fifth ore and coal Harrier in the Gdansk shipyard undergoing fiaal repairs.
The carrier will be lennohed the latter part of June during the Sea Holiday
(Swieto Norza) celebration.

NEA TRAINING SHIP CHRISTESED -- Rzeczpoepolita, No 178, 1 Jul 49
Daring the observance of the Sea Holiday, a new training ship, the Zee Morza,
was christened in Gdynia. This ship was rebuilt from a derelict by the Northern
Shipyards in Gdansk and the Fisheraene Shipyards in Gdynia.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Navigation Adam Rapacki,
Vice-Minister Felike Hidy-Airski, and Director Sazimierz Petrosewioz.
The sponsors for the christening were Maria Postuszynska, wife of one
of the workers in the Fishermen Shipyards, and Sazimierz Petrusewicz.

A nevly built vehicular bridge spanning the Wisla at Pulavy vas opened;:
to traffic.
The new bridge will facilitate transportation in that sector of the Viola
River between Deblin and Annspol, and will lessen the transportation problesfs
in the adjoining areas of Lublin and Kielce vojevodztvos.
