The third meeting of the Presidium of the Sapreme Peop'le,a Assembly of
the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held on 19 April 1949 at Moran-
bong Hall in Pyongyang. The following measures were adopted:
(1) Final settlement of the 1946 national budget and the approval of
the 1949 ustional budget: (2) the reporting of the progress of the North Korean
delegates' trip to the 19SB (3) the reporting of the final result of the

Before approving the prbposed 19,762,630,000-won national budget for the
1949. fiscal year, the Presidium appointed a National Budget -Revijving Committee

Han-yong, Hong I'ong-hl, No Hun, Hong Naa-p'yo, Kim Tai-hyon, Lee Yong, Chong
Chdn-t'ask, Ch'oe Chang-ik, Chloe Yong-Inn, Hu Ka-1, Pak I.-vu, Chang Si-vu,
Kin Von-pong, Lee Yong, Pack Nan-wun, Chang Eae:wu, tae Pyong-nam, Pak Nun-lesu,
Lee auk-no, Kim Chan, Lea Yu-min, Hong Won-ha, Lee Yong-jSn,Kim Yong-on, Kim
Min-man, Han .L1-mnEn Chang-nook, Kim Tuk-can, Tun Sang-man, Iim Che-von, Pak

The county people's committees in Evanghas-do held their first post-
election meetings. Meetings of a similar nature took place throughout North
Korea during April. A report of the meetings fcllows:
Sinoh'on County
The Sinch'on County People's Committee convened on 16 April, its first
meeting since the election of Its members. It vas attended by Pak Sa-hyon, a
delegate dispatched to the meeting by the Standl g Committee of the Hvanghae-do

made on the results of reviewing qualifications of newly elected members.
The meeting elected the chairman, vice-chairman. secretary, and 15' other mam-
bers of the standing committee. Seventeen letters and 62 telegrams congratu-
lating the election were read The meeting adjourned after each member pledged
loyalty to Kim Tl-sang and Stalin.
Changyon County
The Changyong-County People's Committee held its firs: postelection meeting
on 16 April, attended by 53 newly elected members and prescribed ever by Kim.
lion-leak, who represented. the Standing Committee of the Provincial People?s
Committee. Thirteen members of the Changyon County People's Committee were
elected to the Standing Committee.
Sarivon City
The meeting, hard on 17 April; was attended by 46 newly elected members.
Seven members were elected to the Standing Committee.
