VLADIVOSTOK HOSPITAL ERLARCMD -- Krasnoye Znamya, No 119, 22 May 49
The Frimora}iy Kray Hospital in Virdivostok has been given part of a 4-story
building on Shevchenko Streat into which the hospital office and several auxiliary
divisions will be transferred. The space which they now occupy will be used to
house a new division of theltospital to be opened in June. A second city children's
hospital with 150 beds, 1- times larger than. the hospital on Kitayekaya Street, will
be organized in the building on PL.panin Street. The children's hospital on Cape
Churkin will be expanded at the same time.

The Antimalaria Station, Novosibirsk Oblast, will carry out antimalarial
spraying by airplane from 20 May to 1 September 1949 it. the Ob' River valley
frog Berdak to rolyvan'. Throughout the period, the station recommends that
inbabitante take precautions in swiemting in pools in the river valley, in watering
domestic animals, and in turning animals and birds loose in the area. Apiaries
w13,,1 be : moveatl 7 - 10 kiloveters from' the valley borders. For information,
