Tokyo, lE Jun1... 1949 -- A Kobe newspaper dated 18 June 1949 carried.an
article stating that the USSR is now training 300,000 Japanese troops on
the upper reaches of Pu-erh-ohia Ho fBorzya River to organize them into a
liberation army. The source of this report is a Japanese who recently
fled from North Scorea. Re claimed that he obtaineil the news from a person
closely oonnected with President Rim I1-sung.
