Enterprises of Moscow and Moscow Oblast are producing a large number of
agricultural machines for K.R. +...'t tolkhozes for the coming harvest. The
"Ealibr" Plant in Moecw :ias ranufac.?ared the first 100 reapers are- will
produce 1,500 more. Machinery and Repair Plant No 2 has begun production of
horse-drawn rakes. The Lyubertry Agricultural Machine-Building Plant imeni
Ukhtomskiy is shipping 100 mowing machines and 300 reapers to M1'Ss and kolkhozes
in the Moscow area.
Enterprises of the "Obleel'mash" (Oblast Agricultural Machinery) Trust of
the Atl }'ration of Local Industry have produced thc, first 100 improved M3-600
threehifl machines. Plants of the city of Tushino have manufactured 100
tractor-drawn drainage plows. The Zarayek Mechanized Plant (mekhanicheskiy
zavod) has produced the first batch of electric motors for threshing
machines.
Agriculture in the Moscow area will receive various machines wor*tk
20 million rubles in all.

The "Molmashetroy" (Dairy-Machine-Building) Plant in Moscow has manu-
factured the first batch of dismountable refrigerators for fish-smoking
plants, meat combines, and dairies. The refrigerator consists of a metal
frame in which the refrigeration equipment is mounted, and is shipped
dismantled. It is easily assembled. The sides and covering, consisting
of insulating material, can be manufactured from local raw materials. The
cooling section of tb refrigerator has a total area of 126 square meters
and can hold 100 tons. The first refrigerators of this type have been sent
to Ashkhabad, lerecn, Nikolayev, and Sumy.
