The first Vcreto^.hno-Kazakhstan (Blast conference o? DOSARM '~.ook place recently.
Peshkov, chairman of the oblast organization bureau, made a report. on the organiza-
tional work iz the Oblast and the tanks at hand.
There are 54~ pr{wry DOSP1iM organizations in Voatochno-?Kazakhatan, xith a
membership of more than 16,000. Mass education is carried oa by 742 study groups
tc populsrize militiary knoxled3e.
During the 14 wonths since tee formation o?, DOSAdM in this oblaet, there hev~
been eight rifle spurt competitions, and a large number of tractor drivers, com-
municationa xarkera, end astomoki'la drivers have been trained.
The Leniaogorsk Radio Club has been operating aucceaefully. The club radio
t3iatian has established 30G two-~,-ay short-anus contacts with radio amateurs 1n
the USSR anfl abroed.
The conference elected thr DOSARM oblast committee and auditing commission.
'~:e oblast cc~sittee includes 11 persona, among them Peahlcov, Lhursunov, Mambetov,
Vorl:ebilor, ^vao3vv, Ma.-tyushin, and others. The Republic Council of POSARM includes
Pan:~.ov, D?hetgvabayav, Smsgula-ors and Berezikov.

Cherayugov, Chairman of tku DOSARFI Republic Committee, xho stated that the Voatochco-
Kszakhstaa Oblast organization cf DOSARM occupies tGe second p'is~e in the Kazakh

A meeting of the All-Jnion Couneil of UOSAV has adopted a new etdblem and
Ylag for the society. The emblem consists of a blae shield on which the fiilure

sickle;, d gear wixPel; and ,grain spikes ?.re mounted. The. flag is a red rectangle
on which ie mounted the sport aviation banner. The emblem of the society is

The emblem will be used by the press of all orEahizations ~f t.Ae o;,cicty,
as a ba3ge for members of the society, on flags esnd banners/ as a ,narking for

The first Vostochno-Kazakhstan OLlast DG5.4V conference was bald several ~.ays
