This treatment; whose inundation lies in Pavlov's theories of the benign effects of retardation caused by sleep, haz been used-eeticesefully in treating patients with ulcers, acute forms of :ed:sz1 is, hypertonia, and. trophic ulcere. This sloop treatment prover more suc- cesp.ful than amt other known therapeutic method. Recently the Tolnovakba Scientific Medical Society heard a report oa the value of this sleep therapy. Doctors assigned to rayon hospitals came to the conclusion that this method should be promoted as a special service to be offored by all hospitals. Vrasnopol'skeya, chiefs of the Laboratory of Blood Transfusion, Order of Lenin Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, developed a new method for preparing vitamin-fortified blood which can be stored for long periods without losing its potency.
