In a letter to the editor, G. Derevyanko, director of the Aytva Metallurgical
plant on the lama River, said that the plant sent all of Its goods by rail last
year. This year the plant has turned to river shipments as a supplementary fore of
tr nap+,rtatian. It boo already shipped 1,500 tons of metal by water during thw
months of the river shipping season.
Some clients object to having their orders shipped by water. The Oor'kiy Auto-
mobile Plant, fore s, warned that It would not pay for any metal shipped to it
by river transport. ovever, such plants are on tie decrease.
