NEW COTTON SOFISHOZES IN TADZHIffiSTAN -- Pravda, No 230, 18 Aug 49
The new "Stalinabadekly" Sovkhoz hoe boen organized in the Giesar val.Lay and
x111 cultivate seeds of short-fiber cotter varieties. In the spring of this year,
220 hectares of nex eovkhoz land were planted w]th lOtf-S cotton. The new eovkhoz
plans to gather 40 oentnero of raw cotton per hectare during the first year, At

ie being doubled
