Two independent short-wave radio stations will start operations 31 Cc-
tobor 1949. Each will have a capacity of 2 kilowatte. The wave length of one
will be 48 meters, and of the other 30.5 meters. News broadcasts will be given
in Russian at*182Q hours, in French at 1900 hours, and in Eziglish at 2230 hours.

The movement for raising the minimun freight capacity per train Me gained
;impetus. Since the start of the campaign on 16 August 1949, there are now 37
trains in operation, each carrying the required 2,000-ton load. There is also
a train with a 3,000-ton capacity.
At ,resent, the movement is on in only one administrative district, but
in the future, it will extend to other areas.

n.-,.,Ytli_ 1,6 troll.ev buses arrived in Butauest from the USSR. During the
remainder of November, 14 more will be imported from the USSR. The buses will
be need in Budapest.
