MAO AND STALIN TALK ON COMt1UAIZING ALL A3IAt_RETAINING FRIENDSHIP AGREEMENT MAO, STALIN PLAN TO COMMUNIZE ALL ASIA -- Kung-shang Jih-pao, 10 Jan 50 Taiwan, 8 January -- According to Premier Yen Hsi-shan, reports received from MU underground agents in Pei.-p ing, reveal that Mao and Stalin are now conspiring in Moscow to Communize all. Asia. Yen asserted that thi two men are now formulating plans first to consolidate the CCP regime in China, after which arm, and ammunition are to be directed to other Communist centers in Asia to aid in the overthrow of existing governments and the establishment of Communist- controlled ones. Yen also stated that Mao has requested Stalin to send 50,000 Soviet secret agents to China to aid in establishing coieacte between tons Cominform aid fellow travelers in Asia. The principal duty of these agents is to eliminate the US and Britain from the China market, he said. Other plans being foraulate3 by these two men, Yen reported, include the establishment of headquarters at Kuang-chou and Klun-ming to maintain close con- tact with the Communist parties in Southeast Asia; assist the 500,000 Hindu Communists in India to win over the remaining Hindu population to the Communist camp; expand underground activities in peaceful countries of Asia to undermine the existing governments; and establish integrated communications networks betveen Chinese and Southeast Asian Communist parties. 1945 AGREEMEI91P MAY REMAIN IN EFFECT -- Rein-sheng Wan-pac, 8 Jan 50 Moscow, 7 January (U?) -- It is generally believed by informed circles in Moscow that the Sino-Soviet Friendship Agreement concluded by Chiang Kai-shek and the Soviet Union in 1945 will remain in effect for the most part with only minor revisions. This belief is based on comments made by Mao shortly after his arrival in Moscow. Military operations in China were progressing very favorably in accordance with plans. Economically, the various industri,a of China were being converted to peacetiiae production. 2. He expected to remain in Moscow for several weeks depending on how soon the various discussions could be concluded. Agreement. next in importance will be the conclusion of an agreement for a loan that the People's Republic oZ China is seeking from the Soviet Union, and finally discussion of the trade agreement to be drawn up between the two nations.
