The weather for the past 24 hours has continued fair and warm, with gentle
westerly winds.
Weather forecast -- The weather for the next 24 hours will continue to be
fair, with slowly rising temperatures.

The weather for the past 24 hours has continued fair for most of Rumania,
wi,n variable east and northeast winds. The temperature has fallen slightly.
Weather forecast -- Generally fair and windy.

The weather for the past 24 hours has beeu dry and cold, with clear skies
except in the southeastern part of the country. There has been snow this morning
in the mountainous regions and sleet along the coast. Yesterda;;'s temperatures
(centigrade) were 16 degrees at Medias and 4 degrees on the coast. The 0500 tem-
peratures today were 3 degrees at Buzau and minus 5 degrees at Campulung (Moldavia)
and Sinaia. At Bucharest, the maximum temperature yesterday was 8 degrees. The
temperature fell to 3 degrees during the night. The 0800 temperature was minus 3
degrees.
Weather forecast -- Temperatures will fall below freezing throughout the coun-
try during the night. Rail and snow will fall in the southeastern part of the
country and in the mountains.

During the last 24 hours, the weather has been cloudy and cold in the eastern
Part of Rumania and partially cloudy or clear in the rest of the country. Rain,
hail, and snow have fallen in Moldavia, Dobrogea, the eastern part of Muntania,
and in the mountains. It was still snowing this morning around Calarasi and in
the northern part of Moldavia, with fog in the rest of the country. Yesterday's
maximum temperatures (centigrade) were 16 degrees at Targu-Jiu and in the Banat,
2 degrees at Constants and Tulcea. The 0500 temperatures varied between 5 degrees
at Turnu-Severin and minus 5 degrees at Predeal. At Bucharest, the maximum tem-
perature yesterday was 12 degrees. During the night, the thermometer fell to minus
3 degrees. The 0800 temperature was zero
