A printed leaflet enclosed in the 19 April issue of Das Volk,' daily news
organ of the Socialist Unity Party (SED) for Land Thueringen, contains an ap-
peal for enrollment in the People's Institutes of Higher Learning in Weimar.
Under the slogan "Knowledge is Power," the people are urged to partici-
pate in the following courses, to be held at the Karl-Marx, Theo-Neubauer,
Pestalozzi, and Ilm schools. I
