Elugler, Lenpromenergomontazh L. N. Chernyavskiy, supervisor of the mechanical shop of the Boiler- Me-chanical plant of Lenpromenergomontazh suggested the hewing of refractories with e metal disk equipped. with detachable soldered plates made of pobedit. A disk of this kind was constructed, tested at a peripheral speed of 40 meters per, second, and demonstrated sufficient stability in operation while giving a high-quality finished surface.
