The aims of the committee and the purpose of the periodical are to acquaint the representatives of the Western nations with the question of Turkiitan'.s struggle for indepen- dence and justice. The National Turkistan Unity Committee was organized to carry on the struggle for independence against the Soviets. There were more than 500 representatives at the committee's recent congrccz, which was called to strengthen the unity of the Turkistan peo- ple and to undertake a more active and intense struggle against the Soviets. -- V. This organization is an anti-Bolshevik, democratic, and national po- litical group whose primary purpose is to plan the course of action for the future struggle of the Turko-Tartar people against Russian Bolshevism. The-New Struggle Union maintains close and friendly relations with other organizations'established in Western Europe to liberate'the Turkic peoples-from Russian oppression, and is also in close agreement with its sister organization, the National Turkistan Unity Committee, on all matters concerning the independence of their fatherlands.
