THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION EAST GERMANY REGAINS CONTROL OF SOVIET ENTERPRISES TRANSFER SAG PLANTS -- Leipziger Volkszeitung, No 14A, 24 Jun 50 Among the 23, SAG enterprises turned over to the East German Government are nine: which belong to the chemical process industry. They are: the United Gothaniee Work, in Hoerselgau (Thueringen), the Thueringen Hose Weaving Mill, in Waltersbaueen, the Gotha Rubber Goods Factory (formerly Bloedner and Vier- schrodt), the Neuhaus (Thueringen) Porcelain Factory, the roofing-board fac- tories- in Schkeudnitz and Amme.ndorf, the Steinach and Hase.lbach glass factor- ies, and the Meissen Porcelain Factory. These nine factories employ a total of 5,550 :'orkera, including office personnel. GERMAN ADMINISTRATION GETS AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES -- Taegliche Rundschau, No 158, 9 Jul 50 Six agricultural enterprises in Osthavelland, which had been under the Soviet Control Commission's administration, were turned over to the Kyritz Land Association of People-Owned Enterprises. The enterprises have a good stock of high-grade breeding animals, among them 2,500 pigs, 600 horned cattle, 41 horses, and 700 fowl. A number of tractors were also turned over to the German administration. RETURN SAG MINE TO EAST GERMANY -- Taeglic.he Rundschau, No 151, 1 Jul 50 The. "Wolframit Mine" in Zschorlau is one of the 23 SAG enterprises which have been returned to East German administration by the Soviet authorities. EAST GERMANY TAKES OVER TWO SAG FACTORIES -- Volksstimme, No 141, 21 Jun 50 Two former SAG enterprises, the Buhla.Electrical Fitting Plant and the Suhl Electrical Equipment Plant, were turned over to East Germany.
