In the le.Qt few days, the beetle has penetrated to the Leborski Powiat in tae Gdansk Wojewodztvo.. The first larvae of the beetle eggs were hatched on 10 June 1950. The Ministry of Agriculture and A,ricultural Reform recommends a thorough inspec- tion of the potato fields with special attention to beetle eggs and larvae. The threatened areas are constantly watched and protected by chemical sprays. A.protective belt 170 kilometers long has been sprayed from the air in the Szczecin Wojewodztwo where the danger is the greatest.
