Steps have been taY.en to make the distribution of drugs and sanitary
equipment more efficient. Particular attention will be given to the state
pharmaceutical industry, to the expansion of drug wholesale warehouses, and
the network of socialized pharmacies. During 1950, the present network of
warehouses and wholesale and retail stores of the "Centrosan" Central Sales
Office will be expanded and more evenly distributed.
A large modern warehouse which will have all the necessary installations
for proper storage of drugs is being constructed in Warsaw. Similar ware-
houses will be built in Gdansk, RzeszoW, Lublin, and Olsztyn. Present ware-
houses are being remodeled;. refrigerators, dark rooms, and ventilating equip-
ment will be installed.
