During the past 2u hours, the weather became cooler throughout the re-
public. Yesterday, the weather was cloudy without actual precipitation, but
with light winds. The temperature in the northern regions was zero to 4 de-
grees below zero, and 2-6 degrees above zero in the southern regions.
Today and tonight, weather throughout the republic and in Petrozavodsk
is expected to be slightly cloudy and without precipitation.. During the night
and early morning, there will be fog in places, followed by light winds. Day
temperature will be 1-5 degrees above zero; night temperature from 4-8 degrees
below zero, (All temperature readings are in degrees centigrade.) '

On 10 April, the weather in the northern regions of the republic was
cloudy. During the night. snow fell in places; during the daytime, it rained.
In the southern regions, the weather was slightly cloudy. Winds in the south-
ern quarter were moderate to strong.. The temperature in the northern regions
was 4-6 degrees above zero; in the southern. regions 6-12 degrees above zero.
On 11 April, weather in the northern regions of the republic is expected
to be cloudy with local showers, In the southern regions it will be slightly
cloudy with moderate winds. Day temperature will be 4-8 degrees above zero in
the northern regions and 6-12 degrees above zero in the southern regions. Night
temperature will be zero to 4 degrees above zero.

On 11L April, weather in the republic was cloudy with precipitation and fog,
and a light wind in the southern quarter. The temperature was 2-8 degrees above
zero,
On 15 April, the weather in, the eou;hern regions is expected to be cloudy
without actual precipitation; in the northern regions, cloudy with rain. A mod-
erate wind, increasing to strong in the southern regions, is expected. Day tem-
perature will be k-10 degrees; night temperature zero to 4 degrees above zero.

On 22 April, no actual changes in the weather axe expected, Day tem-

regions from 9-13 degrees. Night temperature will be 1-5 degrees above zero.

On 22 April, weather in the republic was slightly cloudy with a light to
moderate wind in the southwest regions. The temperature was 4-10 degrees
above zero, in some places as high as 14 degrees above zero.
On April 23, the weather will be cloudy to overcast without actual pre-
cipitation, and slightly cloudy in the southern regions. In the southern
quarter, the wind will be light to moderate, Day temperature will be 7-13
degrees and night temperature zero to 4 degrees above zero.

on 24 April, the weather in the northern regions of the republic was
slightly cloudy without precipitation, and in the southern regions, overcast
with fog and local rains, The temperature was 8-14 degrees above zero.

On 25 April, a sudden rise in temperature occurred in the southern regions
of the republic, Hail and thunderstorms were noticed in some places. The wind
was moderate to strong. The temperature was 20-25 degrees above zero.
In the northern regions, the weather was overcast, with precipitation in
the form of rain and snow. The wind was light. The temperature was 2-6 degrees
above zero. Ih Petrozavodsk at 1500, it was 21 degrees above zero.
On 26 April, the weather throughout the republic is expected to be cloudy
and cool. Rain will fall predominantly in the northern regions. The southwest
wind will be moderate. Day temperature will be 10-16 degrees; night temperature
2-6 degrees above zero.

On 27 April, weather in the ncrthern regions of the republic was cloudy,
with precipitation in the form of rain and snow. The southern regions also had
cloudy weather. During the afternoon, rain fell in some areas of the southwest
regions. The temperature in the northern regions was 1-5 degrees above zero,
in the southern regions 11-17 degrees above zero.

in some places; thunderstorms will occ'r in the southern regions. The wind
will be light to moderate. Day temperature in the northern regions will be
4-8 degrees; night temperature throughout the republic will be 2-8 degrees
above zero.

On 28 April, weather in the northern regions of the republic was cloudy
and rainy. The temperature was 3-6 degrees above zero. In the southern regions
the weather was cloudy, with a moderate southwest wind. The temperature was
5-10 degrees above zero.
On 29 April, cloudy weather is expected in the republic. Rain will fall
is some areas during the night. The southwest wind will be moderate. Day tem-
perature in the northern regions will be 4-8 degrees and in the southern regions
6-12 degrees above zero; night temperature from 1 degree below to 3 degrees above
zero.

On 29 April, weather in the republic was cloudy with some local showers. A
light wind prevailed. Temperature in the northern regions was 5-8 degrees and
in the southern regions 8-13 degrees above zero.
On 30 April, the weather is expected to remain c'3udy with brief local
showers. Hight temperature will be 2-3 degrees above zero; day temperature 6-12
degrees above zero.

On 30 April, weather in the republic was cloudy with brief rain and thunder-
showers. Fog was noticed around Petrozavodsk and Kondopoga. Air temperature was
6-12 degrees above zero.
On 1 May, weather in the republic is expected to be cloudy with brief local
showers. The wind, blowing from the west, will be light to moderate. Day tem-
perature will be 5-10 degrees and in the extreme south, 12-13 degrees above zero,

On 3 May, weather in the republi- was cloudy with light rains in the
northern regions. The temperature was 10-16 degrees above zero.
On 4 May, cloudy weather with light local rains is expected throughout the
republic. The wind, blowing from the southwest direction, will be light to mod-
erate. The temperature will be 11-17 degrees above zero.

On 4 May, the weather in the republic was cloudy with slight local rains
in the northern regions. The wind was moderate to strong. Day temperature was
14-20 degrees above zero, in the extreme north 8-10 degrees above zero.
On 5 May, weather in the republic is expected to be cloudy with complete
clearizig and without precipitation. The wind will be light. Day temperature in
the northern regions will be 3-7 degrees above zero; in the southern regions 8-14
degrees above zero. Night temperature will be around zero with some ground frost.

On 5 May, weather in the republic was slightly cloudy with a moderate to
strong north wind. The temperature in the northern regions vas 5-9 degrees
above zero, in the southern regions 9-14 degrees above zero.
On 6 May, slightly cloudy weather with co.:.lete clearing in some areas is
expected throughout the republic. Day temperature will be 7-11 degrees above
zero in the northern regions and 13-17 degrees above zero in the southern
regions. Night temperature will be 1-5 degrees above zero. Some ground frost
will occur during the might.

On 6 May, weather in the republic was slightly cloudy, with moderate
northwest winds. The temperature was 9-13 degrees- above zero.
On 7 May, the weather will be cloudy without actual precipitation, and
with moderate to fresh northwest winds. Lay temperature rill be 10-16 degrees
above zero; night temperature around zero, with some ground frost.

during the afternoon. The wind in the northern quarter was moderate, and, in

On 18 May, weather in the republic was cloudy with brief showers and
light winds. The temperature was 8-14 degrees above zero.
On 19 hay, no actual changes in the weather are expected. Day temperature
in the northern regions will be 5-10 degrees above zero, in the southern re-
gions 9-15 degrees above. Night temperature in the northern regions will be
from 3 degrees below zero to one degree above zero with possible ground frosts;

On 26 May, weather in the republic is expected to be cloudy with brief
showers in places. The west and northwest winds will be moderate. Day tem-
perature will be 6-12 degrees above zero; night temperature in the northern
regions about zero, and in the southern regions zero to 4 degrees above zero.
Some ground frost will occur at night.

On 27 May, cloudy weather is expected in the republic. Rain will fall
in places. A moderate wind will blow from the southeast. Day temperature
will be zero to 6 degrees above zero. There may be some ground frost during
the night.
