UTILIZE BONE FAT, MEAL -- Sofia Zemedelsko Zname, 25 Jul 50
The Five-Year Plan provides for wastecsuch as bones, utilization of
type of waste material. including animal horns, etc. Boiling and chemical processing make bones suitable for the pro-
duction of soap, candles, nonfreezing lubricants, etc. Pure bone fat may be
used for food, gelatine for cooking,. medicine, bacteriology, photography, film
production, etc., and for glue manufacture.. Bone meal is excellent for animal
fodder and as a preventive against livestock and poultry diseases. Because of.

Bones will be received by the collection centers of. the Waste Materials
State Economic Enterprise at the nearest meatLpacking warehouse. one kilogram
of soap will be given for every 20 kilograms of bones, and one kilogram of glue
for every 25 kilograms.

An intensive propaganda campaign is under 'way to promote the paper
collection to be conducted throughout the country from 1 August to the end
of.,4cober.
A central committee will establish a plan for the collection of waste
paper throughout every okrug and okoliya.
