On 11 September 1950 the Skupstina of Croatia relieved Nikola Sekulic of
his duties as Minister of Public Health and appointed him Vice Premier of the
Croatian government and Chairman of the Council for Legislation and the Build-
ing of the People's Authority.
Dusan Calic was relieved of his duties as Chairman of the Planning Commis-
sion and appointed Chairman of the Council for the Processing Industry. Marijan
Cvetkovic was relieved of his duties as Minister of Labor and appointed Minister
of Public Health. Djuro H.ladarin was appointed Chairman of the Croatian Plan-
ning Commissions Milutin Baltic, Organizational Secretary of the Central Com-
mittee of the Yugoslav People's Youth, was appointed Minister of Labor; and Dozo
Al=an, People's Deputy for Vrgin Most Srez, was appointed Minister of Forestry.
Nikola Sekulic and Dusan Calic were also appointed members of the Presidium of
the Croatian Skupstina.
SET UP STATE FARM DIRECTORATE, DRUG RESEARCH INSTITUTE -- Ljubljana Slovenski
Porocevalec, 8 Sep 50
The Presidium of the People's Skupstina of Slovenia recently abolished the
Ministry of State Farms and established a General Administration for State Farms.
The General Administration is headed by a general director who is a minister in
the Slovenian government and a member of the Council for Agriculture and Forestry.
Milan Skerlavaj, former Minister of State Frams, was appointed General Director
of State Farms.
The Slovenian Minister of Public Health recently decreed the establishment
of an Institute for Pharmaceutical Research in Ljubljana. The institute will
analyze drugs, study the possibility of producing new drugs, and make recommen-
dations to the Ministry of Public Health concerning their use.

The Administration for the Federal Grain Fund is hereby abolished. Its
duties will be taken over by enterprises and administrations which are under
republic jurisdiction.
The Federal Council for the Turnover of Goods will administer the basic
distribution of grain within the framework of the general federal distribution
plan.
