variable skies becoming heavily overcast in the mountains. Weeteriy winds. Lower
temperatures. Local intermittent rains, pa ~icularly in tha mountains.

and Targu-Jiu and one degree at Predeal.

For the past 24 hours, the weather has been fair, except in the northern
part of Moldovia where there were light rains. Yesterday's maximum temperatures
(centigrade) were 22 degrees at Sulina, Craiova, and Calafat and 12 degrees at
Predeal and Paltinis. The 0500 temperatures today were 13 degrees at the sea-
shore and one degree at Bistrita.
Forecast -- In the next 24 hours the weather will change, the skies becoming
overcast in the north and partially cloudy in the rest of the country. Gentle
west and northwest wink . Lower temperatures. Light rains in the north and in
the mountains.
7 OCTOBER -- Bucharest Adeverul, 7 Oct 50
During the past 24 hours, the weather has continued generally ..nchanged, with
clear skies except in Moldovia. Yesterday': maximum temperatures (centigrade)
were 23 degrees at Piteati and 9 degrees at Predeal. The 0500 temperatures today
were 12 degrees at Mangalia and minus one degree at Petrosaai and Medics. At the
Baneasa airport in Bucharest, yesterday's temperatures varied between 9 degrees
and 3 degrees. The 0800 temperature today was 6 degrees.
Forecast -- For the next 24 hours, the weather will be dry with clear skies.
Moderate northwest winds in the eastern regions and gentle variable winds in the
rest of the country. Lower temperatures. Probable morning fog in the valleys.
