YEVTANOV'S BOOK, "TRANSIENT PHENOMENA IN RECEIVER AND AMPLIFIER CIRCUITS" 1. Calculation of Envelopes by the Van Der Pol Method 3. Simplified Expressions for the Amplification Factor of Certain Circuits 28 STATE 1)( 1 NAVY IX NIRD ARMY j AIR reI Sanitized Copy Approved for This book describes special instruments, designed on the Van Der Pol principle, which enable rapid calculations to be made of slowly fluctuating envelopes at the output terminals of linear selective four-terminal net- works. Simplified symbolic equations for slowly fluctuating envelopes are given and can be solved by the use of operational calculus. Since the equa- tions are simple, rapid results can be obtained. The book is written for workers in scientific-research institutes and for students. TABLE OF CONTENTS Page Preface 3 Chapter II.
