Patriotic fervor among workers hae greatly improved the quantity
and quality of workmanship in the Dairen Harbor Office ship repair
yard. October. 1950 production vas 9.9 percent above September. Boat
crews formerly idle while their boats were under repair have been as-
signed to repair crews to cut repair time.
The Dairen dyewaa~ks has succeeded in producing a quality of sulfur
black 2.8 percent better than the best produced during Japanese control.

Under the stimulus of patriotism, the workers of the ship repi~ir yard of the
Dairen Harbor Office stepped up their October production by 9.9 percent and reached
their goal before the end of the month. At the same time they improved the quality
of the work done.
Workmen have shown a new burst of resourcefulness and inventiveness and have
made many time- anct labor-saving improvsmenta in their equipmte~.
Whereas formerly boat crews were idle while their fishing boats were being
repaired, theyThave now been integrated into the repair crews to work at opera-
tions requiring less skill thus cutting the average repair period by >} days. They
are thus able to catch more Yiah and thereby aid the country against US imperialism.

the drying process easier. Quality of the paste form has been improved by e

Northeast Peoples Broadcasting Station. 9 November -- Since the Anti-
American Campaign was started in the factories aad mines of the Northeast,
production has been noticably stepped up. At a certain steel refinery in the
Northeast, workmen completed the year's production by 2 November 1950 aad re-
duced waste by 500 tons.
