J 7 Apr 1951 SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 1950 EXPORTS UP SIXFOLD OVER 1949 -- Berlin, Nachrichten fuer Aussenhandel, 17 Jan 51 In 1950, the Croatian chemical industry exported its products to Austria, Great Britain, West Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and other countries. These exports totaled six times the amount shipiad during 1949. On the basis of orders on hand, it 1.6 expected that 1951 exports will be five times those of 1950, TO EXPORT RAW MATERIALS TO ITALY -- Koper, Istrski Tednik, 27 Jan 51 Soon Yugoslavia will export 2,280,000 do__ars' worth of raw materials to Italy, in accordance with thr Yugoslav-Italian trade agreement of 23 December 1950. During the first 3 months of 1951, Yugoslavia will ship 25 percent of the agreed amount of raw materials; during the following 3 months, 40 percent; and later, the balance of 35 percent. The raw materials exported will include 50,000 tons of iron ore., 500 tons of electrolytic copper, lead, cellulose, oil, and lumber.
