DISCUSS RUMANIAN EXILE GROUPS
At present, there are in Istanbul 35 Rumanian refugees, including
Zorva, former consul, and Malioglu and Biboscu, former vice-consuls. Aurel
Decei has been named representative for Turkey by the Rumanian National
Committee, and he has in turn appointed Mircea Vasi.loscu to serve as his
secretary and Constantino Abeles to aid him in his official duties.
The Rumanian National Committee has designated the following as
official representatives for the organizations Professors Voniamin for
France, Alex Stanescu for Belgium, Alex Totescu. for Portugal, Captain Devas
and Ion Economu for Brazil, Gregore Cugler for Peru, and Henry Helfant for
Chile.
The president of the Rumanian National Committee in the American Zone
of Germany is Gen Ion Gheorghe.
Two new exile groups have been organized in Paris. The first is the
Franco-Rumanian Association, of which Anton fader flrench approximation, -
of Rumanian name?] is president, and M. Rautu, former minister, vice presi-
dent. Persons prominent in Rumanian and French political life participate
in this association. The second is the Association of Rumanian Attorneys
and judges, organized by D. G. Serbanescu.
