MARIBOR AUTOMOBILE FACTORY MANUFACTURES NEW PRODUCTS -- Zagreb, Borba, 10 Jul 51 Maribor, 9 July -- The automobile factory in Maribor has recently begun producing connecting rods, which previously had to be imported. By the end of 1951 the factory will be producing about 13 other new parts for the "Pionir" truck. In the fall the factory's blacksmith shop will begin producing a great number of new truck parts, which it has recently learned to make. The factory is also preparing for serial production of the new "Luka" truck. FIRST FULLY MECHANIZED MILL BEGINS OPERATION -- Ljubljana, Slovenski Poroceva- lec, 11 Jul 51 The first completely mechanized mill in Yugoslavia began operation on 9 July in Vrhnika. The former mill ground 4,000 kilograms of wheat -daily; the new mill will grind 16,000 kilograms daily with the same i;npower.
