It Mar 1952 RUMANIA ADDS RADIO STATIONS BUILD REV RADIO STATION IN SUCEAVA -- Bucharest, Scanteia, 4 Dec 51 A new 500-kilowatt radio station ras constructed in Suceava. There are 600 radio receivers in the city and eight outdoor loudspeakers. Program arrangement is under the strict supervision of the city culture center, the city club, and the local Transport and Communications Syndicate. RADIOFICATION OF BOTO'ANI -- Bucharest, Romania Libera, 9 Dec 51 During October and November, the radiofication of Botosani was completed. More than 1,000 lines and 350 outlets are already installed. The station will relay daily programs from the central radio stations and will initiate local programs. BUILD NEW AMPLIFRING STATION -- Bucharest, Vista Sindicala, 8 Dec 51 One of the strongest amplifying stations in the country is under construc- tion at Strehaia. Already, 34 loudspeakers are in use, :.ith many more to fol- low. NEW STATION BEGINS BROADCASTS -- Bucharest, Vista Sindicala, 8 Dec 51 On 7 November 1951, the newest radio station in Rumania, "Craiova Sta- tion," started its broadcasting operations on a frequency of 206 meters.
