IN POLISH GLIDER AVIATION
A directive of the Ministry of Road and Air Transport specifies the shape
and dimension of the following signals: "Land with extreme caution," "Glider
flights over airfield" (for ships in the air), and "Glider flights over airfield"
(Tor circling and grounded ships).

Horizontal targets: thick plywood board nailed
to a wooden frame. The target must be folded
(on hinges) along lines A-B and C-D.

Vertical masts: constructed of etrone
poles. The lover part, driven into the
earth, must be impregnated against rot.
The balls are made of twisted osier,
blocks, or from a wire frame covered
with canvas.
