Ration cards for sugar, food, and soap for January 1952 vill be valid
through the whole month. Coupon "N" of the soap card "HR" for consumers above
14 years of age, which entitles the holder to the purchase of one piece of
toilet soap weighing 100 grams, o: two pieces of shaving soap of 50 grams
each, will still be valid is February and March 1952.
Allocations marked on the coupons will be distributed in January 1952
on presentation of various couT+ons of the card for sugar, food, and soap, with
the exception of the following products:
Meat and Meat Products
Meat and meat products cannot be delivered on the coupons for 50 or 100
grams of meat from the food ration cards II/b. II/c, and II/f, and on the coupons
from II/c which bear no date above the indication of weight. Meat and meat pro-
ducts also can not be delivered on the coupons for 50 or 100 grams from the food
ration card Il/d which are marked "6" above t:_e indi-ation of weight. Meat and
meat products cannot be delivered on the worker's supplemental cards T/52,
marked '"2," TK/52 marked "1" and "2," 212/52 marked "1" and "2," and KL/52
marked "1" and "2." - Only 50 grams of meat will be delivered on the coupon for
100 grams of meat from the worker's supplemental card T/52 which is marked "1"
above the indication of weight.
One hundred and fifty grams of rice will be delivered on special coupons
1 II/2b from food ration card IT/b, on special coupoq 1 II/2f from card II/f,
on coupon 2 II/2d from card 11/2, on coupon 5 II/2e-2 from card II/e, and on
special coupon I/T from the worker's supplemental card T/52. Further, 150 grams
of rice will be delivered on the coupons for 50 or 100 grams of meat from food
ration cards which are undated above the indication of weight.
Two hundred grams of rice will be delivered on special coupon 1 TK from t
the worker's supplemental ration card TK/52, on special coupon 1. HP from the
worker's supplemental ration card HP/52, and on special coupon 1 RL from the
worker's supplemental ration card HL/52.

Thus in January 1952, only 150 grams of meat are replaced by 150 grams of
rice, whereas' heretofore 300 grams of meat have been replaced by 150 grams of
rice and 300 grams of sugar. This means an increase by 150 grams of meat over
the meat allocation of December 1951.
Children's food I will be delivered on coupons DV of food ration card II/a
(these coupons are marked with a dot) plus a coupon for 500 grams of flour.
Children's food II will be delivered upon presentation of coupons for 50 grams
of flour. In addition, 500 grams of dehydrated meal will be delivered on
coupon DV.
Children's food III will be delivered on coupons DV of food ration card II/a
(these coupons are not marked with a dot) plus a coupon for 250 grams of fine
flour.
Applications for milk are to be submitted not later than 5 January.
For children up to 2 years of age, three fourths of a liter of homogenized
milk will be delivered on milk coupons of food ration card II/a (these coupons
are marked with a dot). In Prague and Brno, children up to one year of age will
get three f,?irtha of a liter of full-cream milk with these coupons if the ration
cards are stamped by the appropriate Prague or Brno ration-card issuing office.
Milk and butter consumers must make their applications not later than 5 Jan_
nary :9>2 by returning their order cards for butter and milk. Milk will be
distributed on the basis of the order cards for milk. Butter will be distributed
on the basis of the coupons on which the consumers have received butter.
Bread and Pastry
The ration-card coupons for sugar, food, and soap are valid throughout
January with the exception of coupons for bread, baked goods, and meat marked
1, 2. 3, 4, 5, and 6. The validity of these coupons is limited in the following
way:
The coupons for bread, baked goods, and meat marked "1" and "2" are valid
from 1 to 10 January inclusive, coupons marked "3" from 1 to 15 January, coupon
marked "4" from 1 to 20 Jon ary, coupons marked "5" from 1 to 25 January, and
coupons marked "6" from ' to 31 January inclusive.
If the consumer takes fine flour on baked-goods coupons, the validity of
these numbered coupons will be unlimited.
