MEET ORDER EARLY -- Moscow, Izvestiya, 21 Feb 52
The Nikopoll Machine-Building Plant imeni Lenin recently filled an order
from the great construction projects 50 days ahead of schedule. It sent five
tower cranes and 16-link-belt conveyers to the sites of the Volga-Don Canal,
the Kuybyshev and Kakhovka OES, and the Main Turkmen and South Ukrainian Canals.
SHIP FIFTE CRANE -- Vil'nyus, Sovetskaya Litva, 29 Mar 52
The Bagley Metal Structures Plant, Dnepropetrovsk Oblast', has sent a new
45-meter-high stationary crane to the site of the Kuybyshev OES. This is the
fifth crane the plant has sent to the construction projects since the beginning
of 1952.
GET DIESEL ELECTRIC CRANE -- Minsk, Sovetskaya Belorussiya, 19 Mar 52
Tens of new diesel tractors, bulldozers, excavators, and other machines
have been received by the builders of the Main Turkmen Canal. A 25-ton diesel-
electric crane has been sent from Chardzhou to Takhiya-Tash, and a 7-cubic-meter
capacity excavator is being assembled there. A repair plant is being fitted
out at Takhiya Tash for servicing the equipment which is coming in.
SHIP HOISTS, CRANES -- Kiev, Pravda Ukrainy, 28 Feb 52
Since the beginning of 1952, the Moscow Krasnyy Blok Plant has shipped 53

The Moscow Krasnyy Blok Plant shipped 104 hoisting mechanisms to the build-
ere of the Volga-Don Canal 3 months ahead of schedule.

The Orekhov Machinery Plant recently shipped to the great construction
projects a consignment of winches designed for use in pumping operations.
TURN OUT HOISTS FOR RESERVOIR GATES -- Frunze, Sovetskaya Kirgiziya, 3 Apr 52
The Krasnoyarsk Sibirskiy Heavy Machine-Building Plant has shipped some
hoisting mechanisms to the site of the Tsimlyanskaya Reservoir. They will
operate the reservoir gates admitting water to the irrigation canal going into
the Don Region steppes.
PRODUCE OVERHEAD TRAVELING CRANES -- Leningradskaya Pravda, 28 Feb 52
The Moscow Pod'yemnik Plant has begun to produce new overhead traveling
cranes of 20 tons capacity.
