The following tables were compiled from figures contained in the budget
speech of the Minister of Finance Gecrgian SSR. It should be noted that in
the breakdown of allocations to the national economy the category "capital
investments" represents a functional distribution of allocations and is not
to be construed as representing additional. expenditures from the budget over
the allocations to the various branches of the economy. Furthermore, the
breakdown of national economic and social and cultural activities i.: not
necessarily complete and the figures, therefore, do not always add up to the
total for these main categories.
