'1Rm other day, the first class vd1 graduated from the permanent 45-day
course in 111erxism-Leninism, at up by the Committee for Science, Art', and
Culture to raise the ideological, political, and theoretical qualifications of
the teaching staffs of the country's higher educational institutions.
On.tbis occasion a banquet was g!ven at Banda, which was attended by
presiaent publi:: and cultural leaders, heeded by the president of the Committee
for Science, Art, and Culture, Professor Sawa G novakl.
Professor Ganovski gave a speech in which he outlined the objectives of
the course and the help which it will give the natirn'a professors in acquiring
more complete mastery of the teachings of Marx, Iingels, Lenin, and Stall, in
raising the quality of their lectures, and in bringing science into the full
eeroii;e of socialistic construction in Bu1gsria.
Ocademician Liubomir Chakelov replied in the. name of the graduating class.
