The article states that tens of commanders and soldiers subscribed to Bulgarski Voyn, monthly illustrated organ of the Main Political Administration of the Bulgarian People's Army, and many ordered Novo Vreme, organ of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party, adHT~ezh, organ of Dimitrov's Union of People's Youth, and Kcmunist. Another article states that one podelenie organized a meeting of platoon agitators. The ca?anding officer and the representative of the political section (politotdel) were present at the meeting. Officer Avgustinov spoke on the duty of an agitator. Captains A. Angelov and ISh. Petkov are the authors of an article in the same paper on the study procedure in Bulgarian military schools. Finally, Guard Colonel (Gvardeyski polkovnik) A. Rubochkin, in another article states that Communists must always be the avant-garde of the masses. This article appears under the serial heading; "We Must Learn From the Ex- perience of the Soviet Union." The January 1953 issue of Bulgarski Voyn contains articles by or mentions of the following officers: Lt Filip ftikolov, mentioned as giving a class on tank engines to a group of students, Col Ivan Khariev, writing about his reminiscences during World War II, Jr Lt StoiJ Naydenov, author of the article "Cur Weapons." Officer Koatov, mentioned in the article "Our Weapons". Sr Lt Georgi Angelov, author of the article "Advice to the Novice Skier." The December 1952 issue of Bulgarski Voyn, No 11-12, mentions the follow- ing officers: Officer Velikov, inventor of a device for training pilots. Copt Petur Gikov, author of the article "Field Training" (Stroeva podgo- tovka). Jr Lt Georgi Stoynev, photographed with his platoon (photograph accom- panies Gikovs article).
